US passport and many visa applications require a square 2×2 inch photo, 600×600 pixels at 300 dpi. This preset crops your photo to that size; check the head-size rules of the issuing authority separately. Nothing is uploaded.

How it works

  1. Drop one or many images.
  2. Type a width, a height, a percentage, or pick a preset.
  3. Resize and download.

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded, so there is no size limit and it works offline once loaded.

Common situations

Frequently asked questions

Does this check the head size and background?

No. It only produces the exact pixel size. Follow the authority's guide for head height, neutral expression and plain light background.

Is it really free and private?

Yes. Everything runs in your browser with open-source code; nothing is uploaded. No account, no watermark, no file-size limit other than your device's memory.

Will resizing make my image blurry?

Making an image smaller keeps it sharp. Making it larger cannot invent detail: expect softness above about 150% of the original size.

Which format is the output?

The same as the input by default (JPG stays JPG). You can switch to JPG, PNG or WEBP in the options.
