Your files stay on this device. Nothing is uploaded.
Passport photo and ID portals frequently demand images under 100 KB. This preset reduces quality, and dimensions if needed, until the file fits. Nothing is uploaded.
How it works
- Drop one or many JPG files.
- Pick a quality, or switch to "target size" and type the maximum size you need.
- Compress and download; the list shows how much each file shrank.
This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded, so there is no size limit and it works offline once loaded.
Frequently asked questions
Is it really free and private?
Yes. Everything runs in your browser with open-source code; nothing is uploaded. No account, no watermark, no file-size limit other than your device's memory.
How much can I compress without noticing?
For photos, quality 80 is invisible on screens and about 60% smaller than a camera JPG. Quality 60 shows slight softness in fine textures and is fine for web pages and messaging.
Does it remove EXIF data like location?
Yes. The output is re-encoded from pixels, so camera metadata including GPS position is not carried over. That is usually what you want before sharing.
