Will I lose quality converting AVIF to JPG?
Any conversion into a lossy format discards a little detail. At the default quality the difference is invisible for photos; keep the original if you may need to edit it again.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes, in Safari and Chrome. Very large batches may be limited by your phone's memory; convert in groups if a batch fails.
My AVIF does not open in this tool.
Very old browsers cannot decode AVIF. Update Safari, Chrome or Firefox to a 2024 or newer version.
